October 28th is a day of honor and remembrance for all Greeks.
We commemorate the historic “No” of 1940, symbolizing unity, freedom, and dignity — the courage of a nation that  defended the ideals of independence and democracy.

The Department of Energy Systems of the University of Thessaly pays tribute to all those who fought and sacrificed for these ideals and invites all members of the academic community to keep alive the memory and the lessons of this historic day.
