As part of an initiative to explore interest in the creation of an Intelligent Computational Engineering Research Group, students with an interest in computational methods, artificial intelligence, and engineering are invited to express their interest in participating.

Indicative Objectives

The Intelligent Computational Engineering Research Group aims to study and develop computational tools that combine methods from engineering, numerical analysis, and artificial intelligence for the simulation, prediction, and optimization of physical processes.
The group will focus particularly on applications related to energy systems, structural mechanics, and physics-informed machine learning (Physics-Informed AI), with the broader goal of establishing an interdisciplinary environment for collaboration and research.

Participation

Participation in the group offers the opportunity to:

  • Engage with cutting-edge research topics (PINNs, Machine Learning, Computational Mechanics, Modulus, PyTorch, etc.),
  • Take part in research activities and pilot projects,
  • Gain experience with open-source computational tools and prepare for postgraduate or doctoral studies.

Interested students are invited to express their interest by completing the form at https://forms.gle/Get1i1AJVLjtoKTQ7 by November 30, 2025, or by contacting Dr. Theodosis Theodosiou directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
